Week 4 FCS HBCU Picks

Texas Southern @ Jackson State --- JSU
JSU has shown to be a real tough competitor in the SWAC. Tx Southern.....not so much.

Towson @ North Carolina Central --- Towson

The Eagles did well proving they weren't gonna be bullied by the new kid in football UNC-Charlotte. Towson on the other hand comes in at #4 FCS in the nation. Good luck.

Delaware St. @ North Dakota State --- NDSU

ESPN's College Gameday will be at the FargoDome for the game as they take a look at FCS programs and their huge success this year. Delaware State just so happens to be on the chopping block.

Norfolk State @ Charleston Southern --- Charleston Southern

This NSU team has not looked up to par this year. I'm sure they're wishing VSU was on the schedule this year. Hopefully Pete Adrian can get the guys up for this one.

South Carolina State @ Benedict --- SCSU

SCSU is probably the only MEAC school that will come out with a win during this "Beatdown weekend". Put em away early Bulldogs.

Hampton @ Coastal Carolina --- CCU

Hampton just has too many question marks for me right now. Pete Rose is definitely not the answer at head coach...that is for sure.

Morgan St @ Western Kentucky --- WKU

Another FBS opponent for the bears. Another FBS loss.

Bethune-Cookman @ #8 Florida State --- FSU

I predict BCU will keep this game as close as possible for the first half. Then the depth of FSU will take over. Plus QB Winston is really....really...REALLY...THE TRUTH.

Savannah State @ #16 Miami --- THE U

Jesus be a running clock for SSU. This one will be over by the 1st.

FAMU @ #4 Ohio State --- OSU

FAMU looks like it has some building to do if it wants to compete at our level. In the mean time, expect OSU to have a field day.

Southern @ Mississippi Valley State --- Southern

Dont expect any upsets this time guys. MVSU has looked pretty bad so far this year. They can move the ball, & score. But just not enough.

Grambling St @ Alabama St --- Bama State

After getting completely DUSTED by D2 Lincoln (Mo) last week, expect a repeat performance in Alabama.

Alcorn ST @ Arkansas-Pine Bluff --- UAPB

Good win for the Braves coming back & holding off MVSU next week. UAPB is steaming after failing to do the same against Alabama State. I expect they'll be ready to hold down the fort this time.

AAMU @ PVAMU --- PVAMU

This Prarie View team is definitely showing signs of improvement. They could be a sleeper team in the SWAC. Hopefully they've moved past last weeks 2OT loss and prepare.

Tennessee State @ Tennessee Tech --- Tenn State

Tennessee State rebounded after the opening week loss and has knocked off rivals FAMU & JSU. Now its time for conference play. TTU looked kind of shaky at Hampton last week, a team that TnSU would knock off easily. I'll give the nod to Tenn State.

NFL Week 2 Picks

Alright, so last week I missed a pick for Thursday and then the teams I thought were gonna be great...either came real close (Bucs....smh) or just not at all (Browns......smh)....BUT...its another week, another chance to be great.

Week 1:
9-16 picks correct
40.8% Season Percentage

Jets @ Patriots --- Patriots. Patriots are so banged up but the Jets are terrible. Even with they're grace from God himself win last Sunday, they're bad. Will Geno step up to the cause in the national spotlight tonight? I don't think so, Tom Brady takes his no-name WRs to victory.

Rams @ Falcons --- Falcons. The Falcons offense looked good enough to win against the Saints, but sorely missed a healthy Roddy White. He'll likely suit up again this week but hopefully can make a better impact. The Rams in their victory played better than most expected. Their kicker proved again why they call him "Legatron". I think Falcons in a close one.

Panthers @ Bills --- Panthers. Sheesh Carolina, how do you let me down when I picked you all to upset the Seahawks. I expected a tight game yes, but not Cam Newton and the guys to only put up 7 points. Which I think is indicative of how good that Seahawks defense really is.

Vikings @ Bears --- Bears. The Vikings managed to shut Megatron down which is a good sign. Adrian Peterson is already running like there was no offseason. All great signs around these parts. How will Ponder react to the Bears stingy takeaway prone defense? Peanut shall be waiting, Bears win.

Browns @ Ravens --- Ravens. Weeden looked pretty horrible with his 3-INT performance. I'm not expecting similar results from the Browns week in & week out, but even with a better outing, I think the Ravens will be much better than that showing in Denver. Marlon Brown looks like a decent replacement for Jacoby Jones who will be out 4-6 weeks. I expect to see much more from Torrey Smith in this game as well. AND SOMEBODY PLEASE GET ED DICKSON SOME GLOVES...AND STICK'EM...PLEASE!

Cowboys @ Chiefs --- Cowboys. This one could be tricky. Andy Reid knows how to get his teams ready to play the Dallas Cowboys. Alex Smith looked good during the preseason & in his first game. But that was the preseason & against the Jags....who are the equivalent of an NFL Preseason squad. Can they stop the passing attack of the Cowboys which looked pretty good Sunday night? Me thinks......not.

Redskins @ Packers --- Packers. Both teams had a rough time during opening week. Packers couldn't contain the 49ers attack & the Skins had no idea how to slow down the Eagles offensive attack, well before the Eagles decided to slow down. RG3, no matter what he says, is still hurt and/or scared with that there knee of his and will take time for him to be back to normal. Alfred Morris will need to pick up the slack and help his QB.

Titans @ Texans --- Texans. In the midst of that huge comeback late Monday night/Tuesday morning, we saw the Texans team we all expected to see out the gate. If that team comes to play week in & out, the AFC will have some issues on their hands. They're gonna need to continue to develop a complimentary WR opposite A. Johnson to keep defenses honest. Owen Daniels is putting in the work needed in the meantime.

Dolphins @ Colts --- Colts. Tannehill wasn't spectacular be he got the job done. Can he have a repeat performance in Lucas Oil Stadium? Its possible. I just think Andrew Luck will have a better one. Give the nod to the Colts.

Chargers @ Eagles --- Eagles. The high powered offense won't catch the chargers by surprise. But this should still be a good game. The Chargers WRs will have to step up to the plate again like they did against the Texans. I'll take Eagles...by a field goal. SIDENOTE: The eagles are gonna need to start playing a 3rd RB during the game to keep McCoy's legs fresh.

Lions @ Cardinals --- Lions. Look people, people won't be able to stop Megatron every week. I don't expect as bad a performance number-wise from him ever again this season. First victim, the Cardinals DBs. Reggie Bush showed up & showed out and he'll do it again and again. Carson Palmer is airing the rock out and will need another big outing from his 3 WRs to keep up. Lions D-Line will be the difference.

Saints @ Bucs --- Saints. Ok Buccaneers, time to dust the embarrassment off your face. You messed up, big time. But this is the NFL & the next game is already here. The Saints are coming to town, and if you're not up to par, they'll blow by you by the end of the 1st quarter. Is Josh Freeman ready to deliver in the home opener? Not a clue. But I know Drew Brees doesn't need to be asked if he's ready....Gimme the Saints

Broncos @ Giants --- Broncos. Too much Peyton...Manning...that is all.

Jaguars @ Raiders --- Raiders. Pryor is gonna be something special man. Jaguars.....will not...

49ers @ Seahaws --- Seahawks. This game. Seahawks defense will have to step all the way up. & I think they will with the aid of the 12th man. Game of the week, this will be.

Steelers @ Bengals --- Bengals. Lets be clear. Andy Dalton & the Bengals had ZERO business losing to the Bears. And there is revenge to be had. The Steelers are just plain bad. Not Jaguars bad....but still bad.

Week 3 FCS HBCU Picks

As seen on MeacFansZone Forum
I think I'll let the rest of the people in on who I think will come out with the victories this season

Week 2 Stats: 15-4
Overall: 28-6

NCCU @ UNCC --- UNC-Charlotte (Those birds just looked like trash against St. Aug)
Samford @ FAMU --- Samford (FAMU will need to really come together to knock off this team)
BCU @ FIU --- BCU (Hopin' the wildcats can really do it)
TTU @ Hampton --- Tenn. Tech (After losing to WIU, Hampton needs a mulligan on the season already).
Elon @ NCAT --- NC A&T (Can the Aggies keep up the momentum...I hope so)
Howard @ ODU --- ODU (ODU still too much for most FCS schools...Howard included)
FVSU @ SSU --- FVSU (sorry Savannah St....)
AAMU @ SCSU --- SCSU (be the better bulldogs State)
MSU @ Liberty --- Liberty
Del St @ Towson --- Towson (Del State's passing attack is tough...Tough enough to knock off Towson....me no think so)
JSU @ Tenn State --- Tenn State
MVSU @ Alcorn st --- Alcorn St
TxSouthern @ Sam Houston State - SHSU
Alabama St @ UAPB --- Bama State
Grambling vs Lincoln (Mo.) --- (Grambling)
PVAMU @ Southern --- PVAMU

Week 1 NFL picks (Minus opening night)

What up everyone...over the coming weeks I'll be revamping the site. But on here & my Youtube (when I get my laptop back up to speed...HDD Failure....terrible) I'll have my picks every week. Feel free to challenge me, make your own. I also think starting next week I'll have my FCS HBCU picks up here. This is just the beginning....So lets jump into it right now while my college football is on commerical (GO HURRICANES!)

Patriots @ Bills --- Patriots. Too Much Tom Brady, Too many question marks for the Bills offense. Look for EJ Manuel to open some more eyes though.

Titans @ Steelers --- Titans. Crazy pick I know, but with the uncertainty at RB at Pittsburgh & lack of Big Ben's TE, this is the opportunity Tennessee will take advantage of.

Falcons @ Saints --- Saints. Its time for Drew Brees to put his team back on top. Look out for Good ol Jimmy Graham. Falcons wont go quietly. I'm expecting a shootout.

Bucs @ Jets --- Bucs. The Jets are just plain hopeless right now. I'll be waiting for Revis to take an INT back to the house.

Chiefs @ Jags --- Chiefs. Alex Smith will look pretty good in his Chiefs regular season debut. Jags, believe it or not will miss Blackmon as teams will key in on MJD & last years breakout player Cecil Shorts.

Seahawks @ Panthers --- Panthers. Yes I'm seeing the Panthers take this one. A west to east coast game could give the hawks some issues. Plus Cam Newton will be ready to make some noise in what will be a TOUGH NFC South this year. I'm giving the nod to the Panthers & that defense.

Bengals @ Bears --- Bengals. The world is finally ready to admit that the Bengals are LEGIT.....& Plus....i'll never trust Jay Cutler.

Dolphins @ Browns --- Browns. The Browns will shock quite a few people this year. If Weeden plays right & Trent Richardson goes to work, this team can be special. Not superbowl ready, but special.

Vikings @ Lions --- Lions I predict a big day for Bush & Megatron, and....when your QBs name is Christian Ponder....not too much confidence there. 100+ yard day for AP tho.

Raiders @ Colts --- Colts. Not really a tough pick. Colts will ok to extend their Post-Peyton growth. I am glad that Pryor won the QB job. Now the front office has to build around him & McFadden.

Packers @ 49ers --- 49ers. How could you pick against this 49er powerhouse team. We will see if they can answer their WR issues and push on to what many are calling another Super Bowl year.

Cardinals @ Rams --- Cardinals. Tough pick, both teams could be on the right path in terms of building a competitive roster. I think Tavon Alston wont have his coming out party... yet (Cuz its COMING!), but Carson Palmer will make the difference in this game.

Giants @ Cowboys --- Giants. Now I HATE playing divisional games the first game of the year. But the show must go on. This game is literally a toss up. The MAJOR matchup will be the Giants Secondary vs Cowboys WR/TEs. Can they make enough plays against Romo. Im gonna count Romo to give it up at the end for a Giants victory.

Eagles @ Redskins --- Eagles. You are ALL wondering wtf I'm thinkin, but look, hear me out. I think this could be somethin special with the unknown that is Chip Kelly's offense. During the preseason, pretty much every QB looked super comfortable in the system. I'm takin a chance on Vick & says he shocks the world Monday night.

Texans @ Chargers --- Texans. Can the Chargers get any worse, & can the Texans get any better? As they learned last year it'll take more to make it deep into the playoffs. I don't see the Chargers putting up a huge fight here.
