If the MEAC/SWAC Challenge really wanted to have a marquee match-up with competitive football and bands, then this should've been their choice. Last year the Wildcats put together a 4th quarter rally of 14 unanswered points to beat Grambling 36-23 in Daytona Beach, FL.
This time around it's hard again to gauge what to think of each team after their "payday beatdown" games this past weekend. BCU only could muster...

MEAC Week One Preview

Finally, its time to strap up the pads, lace up the cleats, and hit the field for the 2015 football season. In the inaugural year of....*sigh* the Celebration Bowl there will be several contenders from the MEAC. We won't know who's a strong front runner after week one though. Several schools open against some tough FBS competition.
Six of the eleven squads will line up against opponents from the highest level of collegiate football this weekend. Last year's MEAC playoff representative Morgan St. will visit Air Force...
